Harvest Formation Program Foundation Topic: “Why Join a Small Group?” May 04, 2024

The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Elder-Founder and Vision-Holder Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez surprised the Harvest Classes 1, 2, and 3 on May 04, 2024, for being their Class teacher that day! Furthermore, she held the class on the newly finished Ministry Floor with its amazing view of Metro Manila. The Class members are the newly commissioned members who finished the recent Spirit Empowerment Seminars. They are considered “babies” in the spirit and the Bible talks about milk and solid food regarding spiritual growth (1 Corinthians 3:1-4). As “babies” they are taught the Christian teachings and the Community’s spiritual discipline through the Harvest Formation Program segment called the Foundation Topic.

With enthusiasm and encouragement, Soar talked about the topic for the day, “The Importance of joining a Small Group (SG),” i.e. to establish Christ-centered relationships that will lead to spiritual growth and evangelistic multiplication, as modeled by Jesus in Mark 13:13-15.  A Small Group provides opportunities for members to learn from each other as they pray, study, and intimately apply the gospel, something that is difficult to achieve alone or in a large group.

Immediately after her teaching, the assembly was grouped by Harvest Class for in-depth discussion and sharing. Sis Techie conducted coaching per class on how to build a strong and intimate relationship among SG members. She ended by teaching the Class how to lead a prayer.

The Harvest Class was truly blessed to have spent a Satur-date with Soar and learned directly from her about building a close relationship with Jesus and with others.

To God be the glory!
